Dr. Bruce Johnson
Dr. Johnson grew up in Athens, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia in Athens for his undergraduate work and obtained his Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry (honors graduate) in 1992. While attending the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Johnson participated in SVOSH (student Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity). As a member of SVOSH, Dr. Johnson went on a humanitarian trip with other students and doctors to provide eye examinations and glasses to those in Costa Rica. After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Johnson and his wife, Sandy, then moved back to Dalton, Georgia to join Dr. Erwin Braun's practice.
Dr. Karen Gonzalez
Dr. Gonzalez is a native of Dalton, Georgia. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Georgia in 2012 and later attended UAB School of Optometry where she obtained her Doctorate in Optometry in 2017.
Dr. Gonzalez returned to Dalton to join Braun Eyecare. Dr. Gonzalez is bilingual can happily treat patients in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Nicholas Davis
Dr. Davis is a native of Chatsworth, Georgia. His interest in optometry was fueled by his mentor Dr. Oscar Crow. He attended and received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of West Georgia in 2001. He obtained his Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in 2005.
Dr. Davis participated in the Ringgold, Georgia Projects in 2007 which helped establish the need for child eye exams before entering school.
Dr. Davis and his wife, Kristn, moved back to Chatsworth, Georgia in order to join the Braun Eyecare family.
